Another Customized 8

These pictures are captioned as an 840 by the owner when he posted on another site. But it has V12 markings in a couple of places.

The Lambo doors and the rear air diffusers are my only "dislikes"

The chin spoiler is the same as mine with added splitters (One of my Add Later considerations)

The widebody is pretty tasteful except it is a bit too "Scoopy" for me.

Not sure I like the rear kit either... seems a bit much. Hamann rims though :rock

At least he didn't hang a big wing on it.

that looks kool, i would love to have an 8 series

TerryY 07-18-2005 11:46 PM

This one showed up at an 8 series meet in Southern California a couple of weeks ago.

A significant portion of the owners ignored the car and its younger owner. Those that went and stared into it and talked to its owner were not too impressed.

It has a "Louis Viton interior" Ie some of the leather panels were replaced with LV cloth and the exterior badging is LV. The car is plainly marked as a V12 but is a V8 840.

The doors are useless unless you are small. They don't open high or wide enough--it was noted that they were smoother operating than expected though.

I think that I will stick with mine :)

:doh That's like marking an e36 323Ci...an //M3. I'm not a big fan of it. :thumbdown

Although, I've seen an e38 750iL have an additional badge on the left side of the trunk with the V12. It's ok, if it's true. But posers are bad news.

Terry: I am impressed! : You know your 8's! Very nice! V8 840 > yup
