8 run to the coast Sunday
 

A group of 8s are gathering Sunday morning on the Oregon Coast :)

An hour long run thru the twisties in the coastal range :eek

Followed by two different photo shoot locations next to the big puddle :)

What a sweet weekend. Which way 'round the puddle is fastest to Miami?? I wanna see! :) That first shot is so awesome :drive2

Most of us are middle aged and old farts so we would never speed :cool

Just imagine a line of 8s hogging the left lane at 10 under, thats us geriatrics :p

Yup :) And I think the 8's would have vastly better luck crossing the plains eastward rather than both puddles westward :lmao :lol :)

I was scared off by this weather forecast:

THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP OVER PART OF THE COAST THIS MORNING AND
SPREAD OVER THE ENTIRE AREA SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND SMALL HAIL. SOME
OF THESE THUNDERSTORM COULD BE STRONG

It just didn't seem worthwhile to drive for an hour or so to take rainy day pictures with limited visibility.

I would like to think of my decision as good sense :)

But it was probably just fear of being beaten in the Wet Twisties by another old fart trying to prove his Pilot Sports stick better in the rain than my Goodyear F1s do. :(

That and fear of my wife beating me to death when we stopped :(
