Hi I have a problem. I can not remove the ignition key from the ignition barrel
does aneyone have any surgestions regards richard

sometimes in cars when the steering wheel is cocked hard to one side it becomes difficult to remove the key. i would try moving the steering wheel around. perhaps turn the key enough to where you can move it, then turn to off and try to remove it again.

Did you get the key out?

I have heard of failing ignition lock cylinders in the early 8's but not in the late models. It is a dealer only part BTW.

Just out of curiosity what is an 840 CSI? BMW did a Sport 840Ci in Europe with all of the CSI trim but not in the US. It still wasn't a CSI though--Need 4 more cylinders and about 90 more HP for that.

just an idea...cause i did this in my 330. is it in park?

cant pull out the key if its not in park.
