Oh yea, no doubt. And solid proof of that was during 9/11 . . . a sea of seemingly indifferent people showed their faces and hearts. I'm obviously over exaggerating in previous posts. We're not hostile by nature, just kinda matter-of-fact, and that more or less only applies to the rush hour crowds on the street. But there's a whole lot of culture in NYC. You mostly see the usual urban stuff on TV and movies, but there are tons of thriving populations like Asians, Jews, Arabics, Eastern Europeans, Italians, Irish, to name just a few. You go to their communities here and you can literally feel the heritage. It's a great mix and people get along very well.
