Power Windows

So I've replaced the fuse box (was cooked), checked the power window relay under the dash... still no power windows (switches don't even light up). My ETM says there's a breaker somewhere but I can't seem to locate it... lil' help? I've got an '86 E23 L7. I'll have to tear into the dash itself soon to replace the heater core, but would prefer to hold off for a little bit on that if possible. The ETM says it's behind the console... the center of the dash or where the shifter is, or the e-brake? Thanks everyone!

Some BMW's have a circuit breaker for window switches on the center console, has that been checked?

This might seem elementary, but have you checked the switches?

And in some cases the power going to one item, passes through another. So if there is a short at that location, or a weak connection at the fuse box for that item, it could give you problems at the windows.

No I haven't checked the breaker... center console meaning the same general area the stereo is, or where the shifter is? I saw in my ETM there was a breaker, and it said center console but I don't want to tear one area apart just to have it not be there...

Switches may be linked eh? I'll pull those out and see what they look like, clean connectors, etc.

Thanks!

*Update*
Yeah, the main breaker is shot and doesn't always switch on correctly. New one installed.
