looking for a business cd player for an E65 - United Bimmer Community

When I purchased my E65 it had an after market radio, cd changer, two rear TV's, dvd and a rear camara. The custom work is excellent, but I am unable to operate certin features like the navigation, etc. I was told by bmw that I need to install the oem cd player in order for these fuctions to work. I wanted to know if any of you guys/gals can help me out with any information as to where i can obtain an oem cd player for this car, the dealership is my last option.

I hate to suggest this, but it is one of your better options: eBay.

Why must the dealership be the last option?!?

Yes, expensive, but they'll do it and it will be under warranty.

And you have an 02 e65. Good luck without having computer problems when you find a replacement factory cd player from somewhere else.

My advice, go to the dearship, they'll solve your problems. But thats the advice I ALWAYS give. Somebody has to represent the dealership.

I have to agree with LotAttendant. It is a one-time expense, and it will get done right.

I want to thank all you guys for your advise. I let the dealer do their thing, it set me back about $2000 in parts. I had alot of programing issues, but th most impotant thing is that the car will be back to normal. My next issue will be getting all the toys to work (tv's, dvds, camara, ipod and the music system.
