7 Series (E23, E32, E38, E65, E66)General discussion and technical help for all year 7 series cars.
its in the passenger side of your trunk in the very back. Should be covered with a plastic shroud. If not there then check the other side or the spare tire compartment.

Yeah, in the trunk. I'm pretty sure it's on the right side if you are facing the trunk.
There are two screws that are attached to the battery (one positive (red), and one negative (black).....carefully unscrew them and take the battery out. It's heavy, so lift with caution.
Replace battery, (preferably a BMW battery ) and do the opposite to re-install the battery.
The battery was under the back seat on the passenger side of my 1994 E32 740. Should be the same for a 750.
haha, you just owned us all, all use dudes with 3 series have the battery in the trunk.. i shoulda figured, my bro's 5er had it in the engine compartment, but that was an e28

glovebox?
My e34 has it underthe backseat as well.
Suffice it to say if you look in the engine compartment, and in the trunk under teh carpeting, and it isn't there, pull up the backseat bottom.

who needs a battery...come on this is german engineering..im sure if they put their heads together BMW could come up with an alternate source of starting power.

If you have electric back seats it requires a little more twisting and turning to get the rear seat out. I did one a few months ago and it wasnt very hard but if you let pep boys put it in for you dont be to surprized if you get your car back and the rear seat doesnt stay locked in place anymore.
