Service Engine Soon light reset
My coolant was a little low from a leaky hose and the Service Engine Soon light came on along with the Low Coolant fault.. I fixed the problem but can't find anywhere how to reset the darn thing. I have found the wire trick for the oil and service etc but not for this Service Engine Soon... Help me Please... Thanx in advance... Also looking for window regulators for the left side both front and back doors whent out.
AFAIK the reset tools are the best way. How soon to the next service? I have always got a service shop friend of mine to just do it or just wait until the next normal service.
Sometimes disconnecting battery for 2 minutes then reconnecting (negative cable last) will reset that. They sometime trigger when a minor issue arises as your sensor did. It's more of an annoying reminder to have someone look at it - especially a coolant issue.

Thanx for the help.. I just got it serviced but a month or so ago. I'll try the battery thing and see how that goes. If that does not work then I'll get the reset tool that I was planning on getting any how. Once again thank you...
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
