Low Coolant Light
Hello,
I love my 750 LI, what a ride!
I have been taking care of it as my baby and I drive almost 3000 miles a month. Since last 2 months the low coolant light comes on after every 2-3 weeks, say after every 1000 miles or so. When I check, I see the low level of coolant and have been filling up the coolant. This worries me. If the vehicle is consuming so much of coolant, it means it is heating up a lot. – Any suggestions ? What can be wrong? There is no leak or spill I see anywhere.

I had this happen to my 7.
I just replace the lower Temperature Sensor (Engine Coolant Temperature) and it stop the leak.
The leak is very little and does start leaking when engine off. So it hard to find or locate. Try looking at that first before replacing any other part.
