I didn't look at which section this was in, so I guess the 7 looks pretty good, especially now that BMW has given it a facelift.

komodo 08-28-2005 01:48 PM

I thought you wanted a 540...

BMWLotAttendant 08-28-2005 03:23 PM

They're all in there....e39 540i Sport package, e60 M5, e66 745Li, e63 645Ci Coupe.....what's the difference?

LOL. I love the e65/66s. Sweet, but expensive. :woot

delmarco 08-28-2005 04:19 PM

Next car is a 2002 530i (next 2 years)! (I heard the E39 540i are a bitch to maintain)
then eventuallly the 760i (in 4-6 years) when i'm loaded like Komodo!
lol!

7's are such headaches. There in every day for some programming issue that we have to do to them. Not to mention all the electrical problems they have since everything is the car is computer controled. Instead of having a hurge car payment save your money and get a 03 540 with sport package. Manual or auto whichever your prefrence. M5's are to expensive to fix, 645's are overpriced, and like I said, 745's are in the shop all the time.

If you're worried about money, you wouldn't be driving a 6-series or 760. :thumbup

Well buying a very expensive car and always in the shop, it really make no sense :D .I know a dad's friend, he has a 730iL.Most of the time, at the dealer workshop :lol

komodo 08-29-2005 10:56 AM

Wait, you mean people buy expensive cars to drive? I always thought it was just so they could list it in their signature of online forums. :dunno

^^:lol:Why would a person buys a $$$$BMW and just keep it in the garage where he/she will not enjoy it.?:D
Buying an expensive luxury cars means the car is good and reliable, and not software or electronic problem everytime...I know these cars are not cheap to maintain but the if the problems keeps on coming?

BTW,
Did you see a 19 yr old user at MB.world where he traded his Mercedes frequently !!
