Seeking Knowledge about Controls
I am unfamiliar with this type of forum. Please forgive any inappropriateness on my part. I welcome your input/advice/guidance in helping me learn the proper way to communicate here.
I have just recently acquired a ’94 740IL. My very first BMW. I am very pleased with it.
Being the 4th owner of this vehicle, all of the original owners manuels or booklets have not survived. I have no way of learning the use or purpose of many of the controls within the vehicle. If at all possible, I would rather learn about all the controls, than mess around with them randomly, with the possibility of hindering their use.
I seek to view/review an owners manual/booklet. If there is a place I could access such information, I would like to know about it.
Any assistance provided would be greatly appreciated.
First of all, welcome to United Bimmer Forums. Feel free to ask anything you want about your car, or check out our General Discussion, General Automotive, and United Lounge areas for general chit-chat where you can give your opinions on new car models, or tell jokes, or discuss the weather, anything you want. It's a great community.
If you wish to buy a BMW Owners Manual for your car, this site sells them for your car, but it will set you back about $45... a bit overpriced I think. Another option for finding a hardcopy of the manual would be ebay.
Also if you have any questions about the car that you can't find in the manual or aren't sure about, feel free to ask us on here. We always enjoy questions like "what does that button do?", haha.
