740i 2001 Noisy A/C
Hi Folks,
I have a 2001 740i (95K Mi) in great shape.
The only problem I have is that the a/c is noisy. The air is very cold, so no issue there, but the system is noisy when running -- a whirring/whining sound that seems to vary in volume. This sound goes away when I switch the a/c off or run the regular fan.
I'm not technical so I don't know if this is a compressor or condensor issue.
Any advice and any idea what this could cost to repair?
