Smile 1980 732i E23 Battery Drain Problem

Any ideas appreciated!???

I had my 1980 732i in storage and recently started using it again. When I put the old battery back in it ran good then the battery problems started. So, I replaced the battery and only use the car one day a week. I did that for two weeks...no problems and then I missed a week of starting it and BAM....battery dead? One week of sitting shouldn't cause this especially with a new battery...right??

I checked the alternator and it is working fine.

This car doesn't have a lot of power options....no power seats, windows, or sun roof.

So, anyone had a similar experience or idea of my problem?

Thanks!
Hugh
