how to chose oil
hi guys, there are (as i know ) three types of oil, regular,semi-synthetic and synthetic oil and more and more brands mobile, castrol vico ,,,,,,, etc so if i live in high temp region and wont to select oil? about my self for my e38 740i i use the dealer oil for bmw 15w-40 and for my sweet pathy (2004 pathfinder) i use castrol magnetic 10w-40 (semi syntheyic oil) it seems to be great and lower the engine noise i used the fully synthetic oil it seems nice but some body told me it will remove durty from the engine and may eat's the seals as fult also i notice that it increase the engine noise ???? so i deside to use only the semi-synthetic oil as moderate solution anyway dose any body can tell witch better oil on bmw or nissan pathfiinder 4x4????

forget to till u most car dealer NOT RECOMMEND the synthetic oil?????????????????????????????
