02 745 navigation
Ok, so I think I have the MKIV nav system (it has DVD on the front cover) and I want to upgrade the OS and get the lastest maps.
I've downloaded the OS v31 from the webz via torrent and plan on burning a CD later today. Figured I'd buy the maps from E-bay but when I searched I came across a problem.
My current navigation map is a navtech but it's region 7 (south east) and is the 2002-01 so I'm thinking it's a CD not the DVD which is all of north america on one DVD. What gives? Can I use the 2008-1 DVD of all of north america or should I stick to the regional sets (there a set on e-bay of all 8 for $70 right now version 2007-2). Recommendations? Am I missing something big here? Thanks!
