No Brake Lights

Hi All......

Just wondering if some of you can help....

I have a 1996 728 that has no brake lights....am getting the check brake lights warning. I have no brake lights at all including the third center brake light.

Question is....is there a fuse that serves the brake lights....can't see one mentioned on the fuse list....also is there a switch at the pedal that may be defective.....

Any help is greatly appreciated

Richard

there should be a fuse for the lights. there is also a plunger type acuator on the brake pedal that may be out of adjustment also. those are the two things that I would check. good luck
