97' 750il OBC/RADIO/ALARM problem
Hey everyone,
I'd really appreciate it if anyone might be able to give me some insight into my current problem with my recently purchased 97 750il.
It was raining yesterday and all of a sudden my OBC and Radio stopped powering on; also the alarm doesn't chirp as normal anymore. Upon investigating I found that there is a leak in the trunk area where there is a fuse box but all of the fuses are good...but the entire area is wet...so I tried to dry the area out with a blow dryer to see if that would get the OBC/Radio etc to power back on; but I had no luck with that.
Has anyone ever seen this problem before? I have an appointment at my local Inskip BMW dealer Tuesday morning; but we all know that will be VERY expensive, and more than likely they will opt to replace everything when it may be repairable.
I'm hoping someone has seen this before and might be able to help me rectify this problem; I'm hoping the OBC hasn't been fried and needs to be replaced.
