That's the beauty of the forum though, you respect my choice, I respect yours I understand wanting to keep things OEM... but I need my tunes to be @ their best, so I go aftermarket... 2000Watts when I'm done, oh yeah!

Thx drz... it actually was a hell of a lot easier than I thought it would be. Originally I was thinking I'd have to cut the metal and re-shape the hole to mount it - when all I had to do was cut away some of the foam on either side until it was snug and then just pop it in.

Now I have to find where I'm getting the fuel smell from both in the trunk and rear-drivers side. I'm thinking it's my expansion tank (the fuel lines on it are all white & fuzzy... deff. not normal) - I only get it after I fill the tank, and until I have just under a half tank left... whatever it is, I don't want to put in all my amps and speakers just to have gas fumes ignite inside my trunk and destroy the car.

What'cha think... I put AV inputs in my dash, couldn't find much of anyplace but there to put them. I'm still undecided on 'em, but I plan on replacing all the interior anyhow so I can choose a new spot for 'em later if I want.

^^^ that wire is actually my remote wire for the amps going in the trunk. so it'll be hooked up to the the switch next to the start button for my sub amp and T off to the component amp as well. So it'll be hidden soon enough.
