My mom saw an 89 750il for sale on the side of the road and we are kind of thinking about getting it. The guy is asking $5000 and it has 148000 miles on it. When I test drove it the anti lock was on and when it shifted probably into second it felt weird. It is hard to explain but I felt a bit of a jolt and heard a noise. It has been long enough that I don't remember exactly. Other then that the car is very nice. It is extremely clean and somewhat fun to drive. If we buy it it will be my moms not mine. It is black with tan interior. What do you guys think about the brakes and tranny and can someone please run a carfax for me? Send me a pm if you can. Thanks
