ok 2 probs and my car can run i guess

Ok the crank sensor is bad cause i holds a constant power withdraw
and now the fuel pump is good but its not getting any juice if the cranks sensor is bad would it send signal to start the fuel pump and cause the ignition system to fire finally?

i dont think the crank sensor has anything to do with your fuel pump, however it may effect your timing which may be what the problem is..(although that is just a hunch)

Wait what exactly is the problem? More details please :)

ok i found out that my car will crank but no spark, ok. Well the fuel pump is good but not getting any juice while trying to start. We check the crank position sensor and its stays on all the time is it supposta to do that? I figured the crank sensor wasnt any good cause its no signaling to the ecu when to start ignition and fuel cause I have no spark or no fuel? So would it be the crank sensor, or my ecu cause if it my ecu it a 88 735i im screwed cause i cant find one reck or anything and cant order a new or used one im out of options cause ive lost or losing my job and either i can fix this or scrap the car at a recycling place, Im really wanting to save this car so i got to try something.

If there is no Crank Position signal the engine computer cuts off the ground to the fuel pump relay. So no fuel pump-no run.
