I know of three different chip makers, there are probably more. There is Conforti, there is Dinan, there is active autowerks. Conforti seems to be better all-around. Dinan seems to do better at high rpm's. AA I'm not sure about, but have heard good things. I believe they are all around the same price. Two things they all seem to do is: raise the red line to about 7000 rpms, and remove the top speed limiter. If you plan a lot of mods, I would buy a chip last. You can then tell them what you have done and they can custom tune the chip for you.
