as far as im concerned, if theres no reports of it happening, it didnt happen! and dont forget other reports lie too. the insurgents would love to be able to prove that civilians were burned by WP. they will gladly lie to make themselves seem more rightous. if they had proof it would be all over Al'jizera ( spelling?) other nations would pick up on it ( pussy ass french) and you wouldnt hear the end of it. information from any source should be taken with a grain of salt.

i dont think you understand the deloyment of WP. this is not deployed on a city. its not droped out of planes , its not sent indiscrimnatly into a city. it is direct fire via tank shells and hand grenades. or indirect from mortars. if the shell were to detonate in the air, it does not rain fire and brim stone onto everything below it, nor will it spread in the wind.

the exploding shell turns the liquid WP into an areosol. with burns quickly. ( lets compare this to gas. gas poored on the ground and light burns slow. gas sprayed to an areosol and it burns quick, like in an engine.) in the case of gas, it results in an exlosion. in the case of WP it is a smoke.

when a WP shell is fired into a small space it doesnt have the room to areosol. and will ignite as an incindeary.

there is little immediate risk to people outside that building. wich brings me to one of my original points. if your so "innocent" why dont you get the hell outta a house full of insurgents.
