It is starting to sound just like the Vietnam Era again
I wore a uniform thru that whole time because I chose to!
EVERYONE has a RIGHT to express their opinion, Publically or Privately--That is why WE wore the uniform then, to Protect that Right.

Personal view here as a Libertarian
On a scale of 1 to 10 in response of the duty of the Military to "protect our borders" as set out by the Constitution, I would give both about a minus 2 or minus 3.
All of the notable others WWI, WWII, Korea, Gulf War I all had some real justification and would rate well above the middle of that 1-10 scale.
No that is not a knock on the US Military or my two son in laws currently serving. Just on politically inspired Adventurism.
And PLEASE don't bring up Terrorism, the Military is the wrong tool unless you are committed to "Killing them All and letting God sort them out". And that means ALL including the women and kids to the last one.
