I'm well off, my parents paid for my car - still, I don't take it for granted. I put a lot of effort into schoolwork, so I don't have a chance to hold down a job. Both of them are college educated - my dad's a Vanderbilt MBA with an exec position at Suntrust. My mom's a preschool teacher. Still, both of them came from families that were not rich by any means - both fathers served in the army. My father made everything we have, so i'm not ashamed of our wealth at all.
