What are you talking about?

Listen, you don't have a MAF. The M20 has a AFM, and there is no way you can bypass it. The engine's vacuum pressure is what moves the metal flap. The car will not know how much fuel to add, and you will have many many problems.

Stick with your stock intake, and get a K&N panel filter. If you're after a CAI because of the sound it makes, then drill your airbox below the filter. There is no reason to do a CAI on a E30. The air passage is all ready very direct and flows nicely.
