A police officer came to our class today and answered any of our questions. One of the guys asked what police officers do when a biker is speeding. And his answer was, "nothing". There is no way that any police car could keep up with a crotch rocket, and even if they could, all they can do is put their lights on and follow. Unlike cars, they can't try to push the bike off the road, because it will always kill the biker. Many people were trying to make it legal to be able to put down spike strips (stop sticks), but they couldn't justify it because it was just like the death penalty.
So for all of you bikers, speed away!
