Yes, it is easy. You shouldn't have any problem with the frequency of the system. 50 or 60 Hz only really matters if you have inductive equipment. As most these days are electronic and the reverse recovery time of the diodes are in the micro-second range, rather than milli-second, it's a non issue.

If you are trying to get from 240/230/220vac to 110vac, then you need a step-down transformer. If you are trying to go the other way, you need a step up transformer.

However, you have said that you have European outlets, not that you have travelled to Europe, so if the plugs are incorrect, you only need to change them, the electricity is still the same if you are in the US. (plugs aren't that smart).
