Dyno Problems with the E30 Turbo

So I went in for dyno today and something was NOT right at all. The dyno graphs were all over the place and VERY VERY low. At one point it made 230whp and 304ft-lbs! WTF? Then it went as low as 170whp and 190ft-lbs. It seemed as soon as the turbo really hit full boost, the numbers were all over the place. The guy who did this dyno was utterly confused as was I. I was making full boost and it sounded fine and the rpms/speedometer shot up like it normally does. I'm still shaking my head. Funny thing is, after the dyno we went out and did a roll start against his 270whp mustang and I beat him up to 120mph pretty good.

Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong? Tire slip on the track? He swears it wasn't happening, but I'm not convinced. I was running rich in higher rpms, but not to the point where it would throw the numbers all over the place imo. I have videos if anyone wants them and I have a couple of the dyno graphcs. I'm at a major loss with this one... we did about 10 pulls too because all of them with numbers all over the place. Any help is appreciated.
