MP3 i-pod problem

Hello
Desperate of Hertfordshire here. I have a 2004 645Ci Convertible factory fitted with Sat Nav Pro and CD Multichanger. It also has RDS on the radio. Back in May I purcahsed a Dension 500 MOST Dual MP3 interface www.dension.com for my swanky new i-pod touch fully loaded with my CD collection of just a tad over 6000 tracks. Trouble was I read this small note in the manual that said check the CD multichanger pays MP3 CD's before installing. It didnt but the reccomended installer said "Not an issue, I've never had one that didnt work in over 400 installs!" Well he has now! Mine!!! So I'm now Ģ400.00 in and no MP3. So I went to a BMW main dealer to get the i-drive software upgraded. Ģ260.00 later and all I get is a mesage coming up on the screen saying "NO SUPPORTED AND READABLE AUDIO MEDIUM FOUND IN EITHER INTERNAL DRIVE" Oh, and MP3's still dont play in the CD Multichanger. I am thinking it could be the software version BMW have "upgraded" me to but the BMW Main Dealer I went to doesnt seem too up on the technology. Tried the Dension site but they have no version information on what level the i-drive software needs to be at etc.

You guys are my only hope. Help me OB One (sorry weak attempt at a joke in my darkest hour) Any ideas anyone?
