I like it here, but so far the only thing that keeps me coming back is the desire to be supportive. To be fair, I have communicated back and forth with the staff here more than I ever did in my forum of origin. I would really like to see our tech section pick up. I hope to find the time to contribute well-documented DIYs once the summer hits and I get under my car for long enough. I hope some more people do the same. I would especially encourage the staff to put together some good FAQs and DIYs.
When people see quality info on a site, they are more likely to join and ask tech questions because they have evidence that the community is knowledgeable. Once people join, they get to know us a little bity better in sections such as this one, enriching the community of the site. However, if all we talk about is how cool our cars are or are not, and how we are saving up to buy an E92, we are not providing what people are looking for.
I know we are new, but I hope this picks up. So far I feel like we have drained the gregarious members from other forums (making the atmosphere there not as enjoyable) without creating something that is a balanced alternative.
Keep it up, though. As for me: I will continue frquenting unitedbimmer as it grows in all aspects.
