I was once told, by one of my instructors (who happened to be black) in school, that as long as you put your race before what you are, you'll always be held down by it. You're not a black person, or a white person, you're a person who is black/white. Saying that someone is "talking black" is an idiotic statement. White people talk that way too. It's about where you're from. Black people in Britain talk proper British jibber (no offense), so does that make British accents "black people talk"? I think not. White people who live in "the ghetto" speak "Ebonics". So what the hell!? People talk how they talk, not based on their race, but based on their environment. My $0.02. Have a nice day.
