Now, it seems that I won't be getting that intake for my birthday due to the price. however, I will be getting some cash. So, I am faced with a dilemma. I can either spend that money, combined with the 500-odd dollars I already have, and buy some parts. With this plan, I would likely get an exhaust for christmas.
Alternatively, I could save all of this money until the end of the year, when I could roll christmas into the package and get the Dinan S-1 package for my car. That includes the stage 2 software, CAI, exhaust, strut brace, floor mats, automatic transmission software, numbered signature series plaque, and of course, the all-important DINAN badge on the deck.
I realize that the dinan has serious prestiege and might add to the resale value on the car, but the net power increase is only 13 horsepower out of a $2600 package. I feel like I will get better power by buying parts as I can afford them, but I wondered what everyone here thought.
