94' 525i problem
 

I have a 1994 525i was runnign great,

Recently the car trans program light would come on then i would restart and it would be fine, i brought it to a shop he said i need a new drive shaft mount, but couldnt find one.

Yesterday i was driving and took a turn and it reved really high 6k

now when i drive it it shifts to first no problem at 3k but when it wants to shift to 2nd or 3 ir was reving to 5-6k and if it missed the trand program light would come on... any ideas what this may be?

Automatic or manual?

If automatic I'd be checking the selector switch next to the gear shift, common problem to get soda etc. spilled into it and cause it to stick.
