ABS Brake Light

On my 2006 525I I had a flat tire, got all of my tires changed from 18 inches to 19 inches. The tires are staggered with the front being a bit smaller in diameter than the back. The BMW dealer says that some of the 2006 BMW tires do not have the tire sensors in them if they were made at the end of 2006, but my thing is if I had a flat tire and the system read flat tire after the spare was put on, then shouldn't that mean that my tires had sensors in them? Now, my ABS light and flat tire lights will not go off and nobody can find any fault in the ABS system. They have also cleared and reset the codes and it went off, but came back on. Can anyone offer any assistance?

When you got the new wheels/tires did you get this at the dealer or an aftermarket place? If you had tpm's (tire pressure monitor) then whomever did the swap SHOULD have swapped those as well.

When your tire failed, how long did you drive on it and did the tire bead come off the rim? If it was far or the tire came unseated it could have wiped out the tpm causing your current issue.

Also, if you don't have tpm's but your tire blow out caused damage to the wheel speed sensor, then that would cause an ABS fault and a tire light since the car is looking for variation in rotational speed to check tire pressures and calculate wheel lock up for ABS function.
