I bought a 93 525 I and it had bad cat's on it and can't get it smogged it's my first bemmer and i love it but it looks like i have to junk it, it has 248000 miles but it still runs great nobody wants to give me what it's worth it has new paint and loooks so good what can i do i was told new cat's cost like $ 750.00 and i need 2 what can i do?

525 should have one cat (inline 6 cylinder), take it to a muffler shop. It's worth the repair.
