e39 540i steering shake
I recently got my tires balanced and rotors turned because of vibration and shaking in the steering wheel. The steering wheel still shakes from 50 - 55 mph and when I press the brakes, the steering wheel shakes bad. If anyone has had problems like this, info would be greatly appreciated.

Bingo. Had an older 5 that did the same thing, that's what caused it. Replace the control arms (all of them most likely), maybe the shocks and get it aligned following the repair. SHOULD solve you problem

I concur, had to replace them on mine as well. Boyfriend has a 740 and he had the same problem. Replace the control arms and you should be all good.
