Windshield Wipers Won't turn off
I have a 1997 BMW 540i. The windshield wipers will not turn off even when the engine is off. I have replaced the relay and the the wiper motor and still have the same problem. What else could be wrong? What could be causing this problem. |

I have 1994 e36 is with the same problem. The wipers will not turn off. The problem would stop if I turned off the key and restarted. The next day the problem is full time. The wipers come on when you turn the key and will not go off. The windshield washer works, the different speeds work, but they will not turn off. I unplugged the fuse to stop it but now the radio does not work. Any clues? |

Mine ceased working all together when my body control module crapped out. You may have a module issue (its under the rear seat cushion).
