2000 528i 6 cd changer
I have been having a lot of skips on my 2000 528i cd changer. Then, I went to change some cd's in the magazine, and now it won't stay - meaning it automatically ejects the magazine. I have 2 magazines and have tried them both - to no avail. Anyone else have this type of problem? I'm thinking that it feels kind of "loose" if that makes any sense - perhaps a screw on the suspension mechanism is loose or off - assuming there is a suspension mechanism in this player. Any suggestions would be most helpful - saw a replacement advertised on eBay for $650 US - no thanks. However, the local radio in this area is so bad, I'm getting pretty desperate. I'm thinking I read there are reman's available for $150 - is this true? TIA |

i think you can get an aftermarket alpine replacement. much cheaper |
