htlm is fairly easy. We learned it when I was in school. Once you figure out what all the tags are, and what ends them, it's pretty simple. Dreamweaver is a great tool to help you learn. When you're updating, or creating, a webpage using Dreamweaver, there's a selection that allows you to see the html code. You can actually make your modification, using that option. If you're missing a tag, or one is out of place, it highlights it in yellow, so it's easier to find. Trust me, it's a pain in the arse to go through hundreds of lines of html in Notepad, trying to find one misplaced tag.
