Yes. This is true. My letter (e-mail) to NOPD and AMW.com:
You all are heros. There is no name or cuss word for those that said you are not doing your jobs in what was a war zone and total disaster. There should be medals issued to all of you for your heroic efforts. Chief, you are a true leader! A front line hero IMO worthy of the Purple Heart and Congressional Medal of Honor!
