I saw the pics of your new seats, do you have a pic of your current ones? What is the setup? Should like he's BS to me. All front e36 bmw seats use the same brackets and should fit fine. I put in e36 98 m3 seats at one point in my car and they fit perfect and even wired right up and remember my car is a 95. Your mechanic is a boner.
