Well, I remember being 16, having a shit job, only able to work so many hours and keep up with my schoolwork, etc.

If I hadn't owned a 5.0 Mustang, the every yokel knows how to fix and parts are EVERYWHERE for, I'd have been one broke, angry kid.

I guess parents are more generous these days, or kids just have more money if a used BMW qualifies as a good first car...that or they like spending money.
