Yep, DAWN as in for dishes. It's for the first time washing. Supposedly it's suppose to clean off all the previous layers of whatever is on there. I won't use it for every wash, just that initial one after not truely washing her for a long time. I washed after the clay as to ensure that i've cleaned off all the clay residue. Only took 5-10 min. No biggie, just guaranteed that the surface was clean of all contaminants before the I applied the polish.
