I agree 100%. Except for the fact that I have been dumping all my money into my car for the last 3 years and I love it.

My opinion...
*Look for a nice e30, but take your time. Save your money to make a nice down payment, maybe even buy the car w/ cash in full.
*Get a 5spd so that you can learn to drive one. When I bought my car I had never driven a manual before, and now I swear I will never own another automatic.
*As you learn more about the car you can start to mod it. Parts are expensive, but not compared to other BMW models. And you can get anything and I mean anything you want for an e30.
