For what it's worth I have Hawk HPS pads and they're great. They stop my car on a dime, probably 50% harder stopping than oem, and WAY smoother. I can stop from 60 to 0 in almost no time, and while you're pressed forward, it feels so smooth you'd hardly know you're braking... if that makes any sense. I love them. The only side effect though is they sometimes have a squeek that can get annoying.
