ya it was pretty close other than the launch...because of the advantage of the bimmer off the line mazda didnt have much of a chance...both are insanely skilled drivers regardless of their cars

...but man that mazda is freakin impressive...his cornering was equal to the bimmer...it just goes to further my rant about how it doesnt really matter anymore which wheels the power comes from with todays suspension technology...the mazdas had insane late braking abilities and still awesome exit speeds where as the BMW had to brake a lot earlier...man i would have loved to see them run a tighter circuit cause infineons turns are not that difficult...its more long high speed turns...
