They are pretty quick and are fat pigs for two door hatches (3200). The 323ci isnt much slower then the 325i but his is auto and auto 323's have different transmission and they lag alot, but his exhaust is full dual UUC so the power is about the same. I imagine a manual 325i could pull away from an Eclipse GT V6 (he was probably a ricer who didnt know how to drive) but they are semi quick and pull real hard with good rubber and a good driver.
Manual 325i 4 doors are 7 seconds to 60
Coupes are around 6.8 ish (est.)
Your 325ci should walk it real bad down low but then loose ground up top. My bad though, he probably was trying I just under estimated how short the race was.
