I've thought about that and talked to people about it, but the finger print scanner requires power all the time which would kill the battery if I don't drive for a few days... the keypad doesn't. We thought about ways to hook up a switch to flip on the power for the scanner and such, but it all involved getting the computer to start up first which required about 10 seconds to leave hibernate mode. I don't wanna get in the car and have to sit there for 10 seconds before I can start it. We decided to do the keypad ignition first, get that working, and look into fingerprint ignition systems later.
