So I took my car to where my girl takes her Neon.
And I went under the car with the guy, after they lifted it.
We concluded I need new rotors and pads on all 4 wheels within the next 500 to 1000 miles.
My shocks, struts, arms, balls, joints all checked out...so did everything else
Okay the ABS problem is still a mystery. Apparantly all the sensors are cleaned and working, the pump and entire ABS system looks and works fine, the computer read out that there was no problems with the ABS electrical system. The guy told me that only BMW would be able to check it out indept and reset the ABS light.
However, I the guy said my battery's negative connector was not clamped on all the way and was very loose (in fact he easily lifted the neg wire off the terminal point and the car went dead)...he said that could be the cause of the ABS light. A loose battery terminal can momentarily disconnect during a bumpy ride and I won't notice but the car's electrical system can be compromised. Anyway he tightened it and said that I could be the best cause of the ABS mystery.
Anyway I got all that done for $25 and I still gotta take my car to BMW next week.
