Cool Owning Brake Pads (and other work)

So yeah, I was driving along today and BLINK, on came my brake pad warning light. I pulled a u-turn and drove straight to Kauffman Tire. They checked it out and said my fron brake pads were 90% worn and my rear was 99% worn. The amusing part is these pads are rated for 25,000 miles. I had brand new ones put on 10,000 miles ago.

Also they discovered an oil leak under the engine when it was up on the lift.

To make a long story short, when I get all that engine work done on Monday, I'm also going to get high performance Hawk pads (racing class, not the granny pads they put on tarus's at kauffman tire) put on with brand new rotors. He's also gonna fix the oil leak. So that just adds to the bill. haha

So now I'm dropping my car off sunday for a few days to have the following things done:

-New front and rear brake pads
-New front and rear rotors
-Fix oil leak
-M3 X-Brace install
-Fan Delete
-ASC delete
-Water pump replacement
-Thermostat replacement
-High flow racing cats and xpipe install
-S52 M3 cams install
-M50 manifold install
-UUC Underdrive Pulleys install

I myself (with zak [EcianIce] and chris's [ChrisWorrell] help probably) am doing the following installs the day I get it back:

-UUC System U install
-Pioneer AVIC-N2 headunit install
---with gps install, e-brake connection setup, and xm install
-Pioneer AVIC-N2 voice activation module install (with mic and steering wheel mount install)
-Conforti Cam & Manifold Custom Shark Injector install
-Foglight bulbs replacement

Also my tires are starting to get a little low, so in the next few thousand miles I'll probably be using that as an excuse to buy new tires and rims (velocity motorsports most likely). I also am considering buying a spoiler to install at the same time, but I haven't done that yet. I'll try to make DIYs on as much as I can.

Now I'm about to go outside to splice and rewire my left blinker harness which has a bad connection and has been acting up recently. I'll also take some pics of my Sunroof Eclipse for Rooz, and my DDE wiring for the few people who asked about that.

Basically, later this week I'll have a whole new car.
